Each year the whole Kindergarten class goes to the zoo on the last day of school,Thursday, May 28th. Because there are 2 sections of Kindergarten we have to change the times we go to school that day as there is not enough time in the day to go twice. Plus it is more fun with everybody!
Here are the details:
Both classes will meet at the school at 9:30am to practice for our graduation. Then we will organize our things, go to the bathroom one more time, and we will leave at 10:20 am on the bus.
Cost for Kindergartners and Chaperons is $2.
Cash only paid by May 26th (Tuesday).
Cost for families paid by you separately:
Preschoolers (2 and under): FREE
Child (ages 3-12): $4.50
Adult (ages 13-54): $8.50
Seniors (age 55 and up): $7.50
Military (with military ID): $7.50
We will tour the zoo in our groups, and then meet at the entrance at 12:00 pm to go to the park for lunch. Lunch is being provided by Qdoba! We won the taco bar!!!!! Parents the children will eat first and then adults. If you are a hungry sort you might want to pack extra. Kids who don't like tacos should bring a sack lunch.
After eating and playing at the park we will board the bus at 1:15 pm to return to school for parent pick up at 1:30 pm.
Things to bring:
Please pack a water bottle/drink and a snack.
Hat,
Sunglasses (optional)
Sunscreen
Good walking shoes… no flip-flops please.
And…the tie dye t-shirt that we made.
Please check the weather that morning and dress accordingly.

Parents you are welcome to meet us at the zoo.

Personality Test
We have been reading a book called The Treasure Tree. It is a about 4 animals who have different personalities and how God gave them different gifts. Event though they are all different they are all needed in solving life's problems.
I sent home (in Friday Folders) a letter explaining it more as well as what the kids think they are (in pencil) and what I have observed in the classroom (in pen). Here is a website explaining the different personality types with their strengths and weaknesses. I know they will grow and change in life, but it is fun to think about how they view the world.
You do not need to return them. They are just for fun and your reference.
